They came back wrong
You start in the main courtyard with a pistol. Every round the rival school's crew comes back for more, tougher each time, with runners and bruisers later on. None of them can outrun you at a sprint. Hits and kills earn points: spend them on guns, ammo, and doors that open up the rest of campus, all the way to the football stadium (hold X or E).

Play with a friend
One of you hosts and gets a 4-letter code. The other picks Join and enters it.
Joining with a controller: select the code box, then use the D-pad (up/down picks a letter, left/right moves) and press A. On a keyboard, just type the code and press Enter. Multiplayer works in the downloaded game file.

Surviving the campus
- Points come from every hit and kill. Headshots and melee kills pay the most.
- Doors with gold price plates open up new parts of campus: the Academic Hall and its classrooms, the auditorium, the gym, and finally the football stadium. You start in the Mess Hall, and its door out doesn't take points. Read the notes.
- Boarded windows are how zombies get in. They tear the boards off and climb through. Hold X or E at a window to nail boards back up: 10 points a board, up to 60 a round. Blue marks on the minimap show where they are.
- Gun stands glow on the ground. To refill a gun, go back to the stand you bought it at: it refills for half price (2,500 / 3,500 / 4,500 once it's Pack-a-Punched, by tier). Your starting Pocket 9 and the Red Hills 47 only refill from a Max Ammo.
- The power is off. Find the switch in the auditorium's east wing, by the stage. Turn it on and the stadium floodlights come up, and the Pack-a-Punch machine on the football field wakes up: 5,000 points upgrades the gun in your hands.
- No zombie is faster than you at a sprint. Keep moving and run them in loops.
- Health comes back if you stay out of reach for a few seconds. In co-op, a downed partner has 30 seconds for you to revive them.
